Launched in the summer of 2004, Lucas Entertainment promises 1000s of streaming, full-length movies, behind the scenes interviews and footage and exclusive web-only content. But promises are just that; promises. But I can happily say that Lucas does fulfill most of its promises. Just don’t get confused by the name. There is no George here if the Star Wars trilogies; unless you’re wanting to witness nekkid storm troopers fucking each other up the bunghole.
Lucas features a nice assortment of ethnically diverse men. He labels a few of his models as twinks, but they see like they all fall into the 21 and older category. No one’s getting carded here. But you, the member are, since the fucking flicks are DRM protected which means you need a username and password to access the flicks. Basically, once you’re membership is up, your videos are rendered useless. But is the site useless? Not really. Read on.

The site is brainchild of one Michael Lucas. According to his bio: Lucas Entertainment founder and president Michael Lucas was born in Moscow, Russia, on March 10, 1972. He was raised in Moscow and attended college there, graduating with a degree in law. In 1995, Lucas moved to Germany, then to France, where he began modeling and appearing on several European television programs and covers of many European magazines. In 1998, Lucas opened his own production company, Lucas Entertainment, in New York City. Later that year, he made his directorial debut with the well-received Back in the Saddle.
Bio propaganda aside, Michael is a hot piece of Russian ass and knows how to shake it and the system up for a buck or three. Unfortunately, the cheap Russian bastard is giving nothing away for free in the tour section, which sucks, since that’s where all viable income comes from. I wanna see what I am getting into before I get into it.
When finally a member, you’ll find close to 200 models featured. A brief bio is given for each model and a few photos for some and quite a few for other models. You’ll see names like Tony Acosta, Carlos Aquire, Dennis Andropov, Tyson Cane and Sergei Stravinsky. No, the dude doesn’t play the violin. He fucks and sucks cock like the rest of the Russian mob members listed in the credits.
There is also a listing of videos and DVD appearances for each model. There are clips of Lucas videos offered as well as videos of model's auditions. Lucas appears in most of the audtions as well as most of the videos. That ubiquitous fuck can sure get around. Then again, the site is in fact named after him and he wants to make sure he’s in everyone and everything. Hitchock he’s not, although he hitches his cock to almost everyone and everything he touches.
Photo Galleries are broken down into Exclusive Models, Model Galleries, Layouts and Production Stills. Some of the individual galleries are large, most aren’t with some only offering a half dozen at most and all of the images are heavily watermarked.
A lot of the audition tapes are actually duo performances, with Lucas obviously directing the action as well as performing, too. You’ll also find a "Forum" where members can make comments or ask questions which Lucas will eventually (never) answer. The only improvement I can see is doing something about the excessive "buffering" time required to view a lot of the videos. Many are several hours long to view a 20-25 minute clip. I do have a "slow connection" but I have never encountered this slow buffering. It isn't as bad with the auditions.Lucas has managed to find some very hot models. If you can spare a few waiting to buffer, you will eventually get to buff your own bologne.
The clips are offered in QuickTime and WMV formats. QuickTime clocks in at inly 400kps at 480X360. WMV is even slower at 350kps at 480X360. And it gets worse:
the flicks are all branded. The bottom portion of the screen is covered by an annoying tag which reads LUCAS ENTERTAINMENT. This can sometimes cover up some of the action. Watermarks suck. Lucas! Can you hear me?
Conclusion
Lucas Entertainment does in fact entertain, but at what cost? If time is of the essence, you needn’t plunk down your hard earned cash. As mentioned earlier, buffer time is a bitch. But the trial option is decent: $5.95 for 2-days which unfortunately recurs at $24.00 a month, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. A bad thing is all the damn watermarking and DRM protection action. Pay the 6 bucks, view what you can for 48 hours, and then decide if Lucas and his team of hot hunks are worth an extra twenty-four. The amount, not the show. Jim Bauer rocks!
